Castlevania: Nocturne just premiered its second season, and it’s better than anyone could’ve imagined. Reaching a new height in terms of narrative and animation, Nocturne Season 2 logically moves the story forward while delivering a more electrifying spectacle than ever before. Because there is no certainty of a third season, Nocturne ends its sophomore effort on a satisfying note that could function as a series finale in case Netflix decides not to move forward with another chapter. However, that would be a severe mistake on the streamer’s part. Castlevania: Nocturne has proven itself not only willing to grow and experiment but also capable of taking narrative risks without losing the striking animation that made it a hit in the first place.
